Aircrew Edge Refund Policy
How refunds work for Premium and Bidding subscriptions.
Premium ($5 / month)
Premium is monthly data access. When you cancel Premium, your access continues through the end of the current billing cycle and your subscription does not renew. We don't refund the unused portion of the cycle, because the data was available to you the whole time.
If you'd like to add guided bidding tools, you can subscribe to Bidding — see below.
Bidding ($49 / month)
Bidding includes the guided bid-building tools, the Bid Clicker integration, and all the data access that comes with Premium.
How Bidding billing works
Bidding bills on the 25th of each month. That date is fixed regardless of when you signed up.
Depending on where you are in the cycle, you may see one or two line items at signup:
- Current Bid Month Access — a one-time charge that gives you the tools and data for the bid month already in progress. This line appears only if you sign up before a cycle cutoff (the 9th of the month, 8:00 PM Pacific).
- Future Bid Months — your recurring monthly subscription, billed on the 25th from then on.
If you sign up after the cutoff, you skip the one-time charge entirely. Your card is kept on file and your first charge runs on the upcoming 25th.
The cutoff exists so pilots who sign up at different points in the month pay fairly relative to what they actually use.
Cancelling Bidding — the three cases
When you cancel (or downgrade to Premium), the outcome depends on where you are in the billing cycle.
Case 1 — You cancel before your first recurring charge.
If you cancel before the next 25th, we stop the upcoming renewal and you keep Bidding access through the end of the current cycle. Nothing is refunded, because no recurring charge has run yet.
If you signed up before the cutoff and paid the one-time Current Bid Month Access charge, that line item is not refunded. It paid for the bid month you're using right now.
Case 2 — You cancel after a renewal, but before the next bid month's data opens.
If your card was charged on the 25th but the next bid month's data hasn't opened on the site yet, we cancel immediately and refund that most recent Future Bid Months charge in full. Refunds typically post back to your card within 5–10 business days.
This is the "no value delivered" case: you paid for a cycle whose data never opened for you.
Case 3 — You cancel after the next bid month's data opens.
Once the new bid month's data has opened on the site, you've received the value of that cycle. Your Bidding access continues through the end of the current cycle, and we don't issue a refund. Your subscription does not renew.
You'll get a confirmation email with the specific outcome (which case applied, when access ends, and whether a refund was issued).
Downgrading from Bidding to Premium
If you want to keep data access but stop the guided bidding tools, you can downgrade to Premium from your account page. The same three cases above apply to the Bidding portion of the change:
- Cases 1 and 3: Your Bidding access continues through the end of the current cycle, and Premium begins the day after Bidding access ends.
- Case 2: Bidding ends immediately with a full refund of the most recent recurring charge, and Premium begins shortly after.
The confirmation page shows both dates.
Something looks wrong on your bill
We're a small team and we'd rather hear from you than have a charge sit wrong. Email info@aircrewedge.com with what you're seeing — the date, the amount, what you expected — and we'll look at the specific account and make it right.
If your situation doesn't fit cleanly into one of the cases above, write to us anyway. The policy describes the standard outcomes; real billing situations are sometimes messier, and we'd rather decide case by case than apply a rule that doesn't fit.
